يعتبر اختيار منهج علاجي باستخدام الصادات الحيوية صعباً، فمن جهة يجب الحذر من تطور المقاومة و التعنيد resistance، و من جهة أخرى لا يكون هناك مجال لتأخير البدء بالصادات بوجود إنتان دم sepsis أو وجوب الوقاية من انتان ما.
هذا البرنامج عبارة عن السياسة المتبعة في أحد مشافي ويلز في المملكة المتحدة، و هو يقوم باقتراح الصاد بخط علاجي أول first line treatment أو ثاني حسب مكان الإنتان و الجهاز الذي يتبع له.
بتصميم بسيط و واضح، منصوح به و بشدة.
