بعكس الكثير من البرامج و التطبيقات التي تركز على سرد المصطلحات الطبية بالانكليزية، و التي تكون أشبه منها بالمعاجم عن برامج تساعدك في فهم الاصطلاح الطبي، يقدم هذا البرنامج قاعدة ممتازة لمن يرغب بتعلم المصطلحات الطبية medical terminology. يقسم البرنامج الكلمة أو المصطلح الطبي إلى المقدمة prefix، جذر الكلمة root، و اللاحقة suffix، و يقدم سرداً بها مع معناها الطبي، بحيث يتعلم المرء تكوين المصطلح الطبي بناء على معناه باستخدام تلك المكونات الثلاثة.
